Evelyn and Ralph Whalen lived at 2007 Wisconsin Avenue, opposite the church (1943 directory). Their son, Ralph L. Whalen, Jr., married Mary Pruett at Mount Tabor Church in 1951. Their granddaughter, Sandra Bradford, has lived in Glover Park for most of her 62 years; her mother, aunts, and uncle all attended Mount Tabor Church.
